Indelible Impressions

Experimental printmaking and paper sculpture created during an art residency at The Tidal Art Centre in Lund BC. Aspects of the project make up an exhibition at DORIS, a small space located upstairs at the Beaverlodge Art Centre in Beaverlodge AB.

"My work examines how memory is engrained in place and landscape through layered and composite viewpoints; how structures, objects and materials have agency to convey history and meaning; to spark personal and collective memory. Printmaking speaks to memory as an imprinting process. ‘Indelible impressions’ weaves together landscape, memory and material to form an enduring topography.
